Creating a name seems to be fun enough...but creating the story should be even better! I've never really blogged but I figure I have a lot to share so this should be perfect! I will probably spell things wrong and my grammar will be messed up BUT! I promise to always be welcoming and keep the pink porch light on for you! You can laugh and cry with me and I hope to hear about all your stories too! Maybe we can venture through this fun life with a smile from a story or lend an ear when there are tears to be shared?
Let's start with today...yes, I already have a story to tell....well usually I have many stories to tell....any way, back from the rabbit trail....I have learned something worth sharing today! I know you are so excited to hear so I will tell you .... Okay, so here is the whole deal. I have a thing about trying to be nice when talking to people. I learned a long time ago that some times we don't get another chance to go back and apologize and I guess I expect the same thing from others. It seems this idea is not shared by many.....well at least it seems that way to me. *Please, for the first blog please be nice in your response! lol!* So far today I have heard people younger than myself who have less experience in their field...well I should say my field tell me how to do a job they themselves have never done and the lady at the gas company also threatened to turn our gas off if we weren't home...from 8-5....on a work day...in a rude voice while smacking her gum....even know they are just coming to look at our meter...because it's not registering that we owe...SOO not a problem for me and all that to ask this question...What has happened to the wise saying from Bambi "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all"? So that really doesn't say what I learned and I know I mentioned that a couple of sentences back...lol...I learned that no matter how nice I am and how careful I am some people are still going to be rude and they might not even know how rude they are being. I know that if you are reading this you probably have felt this way before too.....so just know I'm totally on your side and if you have a story about some "not so nice" people please share. Maybe, if we vent we can laugh together and it might make us both feel better knowing we are not alone.
